Nationwide is the only solar company we know that has no salespeople and no advertising. Our success comes from the good word passed on by our customers to potentially interested friends and family members. This method takes out any incentive by a salesperson to go for high profit. No marketing lowers the overall costs for the company, which is passed on to the client without compromising the integrity of the design.

Furthermore, Nationwide is licensed by the State Contractors Board for A engineering, B general, C10 Electrical as well as several other licenses. Point of interest, Nationwide is the only contractor in California with all these licenses: A, B, C10, C27, C39, HAZ, UST, ASB, MLD!

Most other companies have a C46 which is solar, but C10 overrides C46. C46 cannot do panel upgrades or batteries!!! In other words, C10 can do everything a C46 can, however, not the other way around.

Nationwide Sun is also a roofing company. This is what we offer:

• If you need to replace the roof within the first year of the solar installation, Nationwide Sun will remove the system from the old roof and re-install on the new roof at no cost to our customers, all we ask is that you give us the first shot at the roofing work.
• If the roof needs to be replaced after the first year and you select Nationwide Sun as your roofing contractor, we will remove and re-install the solar at no cost to you. If you chose a different roofer, which is fine, then the cost shall be 250 dollars per panel (we use all new mounts for the re-installation).

There are no moving parts, so there is no maintenance required. Repairs, with the exception of physical damage are covered under manufacturer’s warranty.

If x > y then you can roll the excess x into the following year or you can cash out x at 2-4 cents per Watt. Most people roll the x over to the following year. If x < y then you will owe the electric company the difference at the time of TRUE UP for the excess consumption. We design most systems to 110% offset of your previous annual usage, so x > y unless you drastically change Y from last year.

1. Complete the loan application (if financing).
2. Contract.
3. Plan sets and permitting.
4. Site survey prep.
5. Permit approval.
6. Schedule installation.
7. Complete install, system will be powered up.
8. You sign off on the loan docs for payment (if financing) or pay your contractual agreement cash-check payments.
9. Your monitoring system is set up.
10. We schedule your final inspection.
11. Final inspection complete.
12. We submit your application with PG&E for NEM.
13. PG&E processes your NEM application.
14. NEM is turned on, and you begin the x > y accounting.
